My work is an act of destruction and recovery: I rebuild from the ground up, through the roots connected to a source hidden in the dirt beneath our feet.

I see the natural world as our ultimate teacher. It gives more than it takes while maintaining harmony within itself.

Where the natural world possesses an unyielding, selfless perfection, content even in its own decay, human existence is fraught with fracture, isolation, and messy, embodied longing.
