Kramhöller faced something peculiar: For nine years, she had the same dream time and time again. Quite gruesome in nature, the symbolisms her subconscious uses to communicate its states of sorrow, have always left her wondering about the underlying meaning. It is only when she truly started to embody herself that the dreams suddenly started to change.

Within the series “Mother.”, Kramhöller explores what it means to be truthful, to take responsibility, and what it takes to provide the grounds in which life can flourish. Facing self-sacrifice, her personal theology and ancestral wounds, she takes us to a realm of dreams that seem to depict an alternate reality separate from her own.
